Baana Kaathadi Music Review

Baana Kaathadi is the latest venture of Sathyajothi Films after the clean family entertainer 'Jayam Kondaan. The film introduces actor Murali's son Adharva which couples with another rookie in Tamil Samantha acted in "Ye Maaya Chesave 'the Telugu version of' Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. Prasanna plays an important role and Karunaas the comedian.The film was written and directed by Badri Venkatesh and produced by Films Sathyajothi Senthil Thyagarajan T and Arjun. The audio of 'Baana Kaathadi' was released on April 30th at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai.Baana Kaathadi's music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The album contains five songs and four of them are interesting solo numbers. Two are written by NA. Muthukumar and Vaali, Gangai Amaran Snehan and wrote one song each. But the album is the remix of "non-function Aathadi Paavadai 'from' Poovilangu" Murali's debut film as reported by the media earlier.The film is advertised as a "Yuvan Shankar Raja Musical 'and there are reasons for that.
1. Thaakkuthe - Listen here

In line with the genre's Yuvan Singer, Thaakkuthe is his usual tune. But surprisingly, no major exception of the instrumentation for the base drum beats. Bass drum beats are racier than the usual background. Yuvan is based on simple beats and a master as he treats them well. It works people. Yuvan know what we want. 2. Oru Paithiyam Pidikudhu - Listen here

With funky beats Singer Karthik tried 'Oru Paithiyam Pidikudhu "a new voice. The pace is slow compared to the other Yuvan usual pace for this kind of romantic solos. Again there is no great orchestration. Simple piano takes the song through. Intermittent male and female harmony humming is an added value.

Sadhana Sargam's "And Nenjil" is another romantic travelers from the perspective of the girl. Flutes, violins and strings are all great accompaniments. Sometimes the soft voice of Sadhna Sargam is driven by more than the music.
